Future Students

Students interested in pursuing a PhD in the bat lab should contact Dr. Smotherman directly through the Biology Department.
Students may apply through the Biology Department, or may apply through the Neuroscience or the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology graduate programs.
The lab has an opening for a new graduate student beginning the fall, 2021.

Undergraduate Students in all STEM disciplines looking for research experience are also welcome. We encourage students to take advantage of the Texas A&M Undergraduate Research Scholars programs.
